About the Youth PMHA Program

In 2024, we partnered with Nine Neighborhoods Fund and piloted an 8-week bilingual cohort of our PMHA training program for over 60 high school students in Providence, Rhode Island.

Spring 2026 Youth Listening Circles

In preparation for relaunching our training cohorts this fall, we want to hear from youth about what they want to see in our program! Help shape our youth programming by sharing your thoughts on:

🗣️ TOPICS: What mental health topics or issues are most important to you and your communities? What feels critical to collectively deepen our knowledge on in this moment?

🗣️ SKILLS: What kind of mental health related skills do you want to build? What do you want to learn how to do?

🗣️ COMMUNITY: How do you want to be in community with your peers? What kinds of connection matter to you?

We are planning on launching two in–person cohorts this fall, one in NYC and one in Providence, RI.

  • 📢 Calling all NYC youth ages 14-19! We want to hear from you about what you want to see in our mental health and peer support youth programs. Join us for a virtual NYC youth listening circle. 

    📅 Wednesday, May 13th

    NYC youth ages 14-19

    ✨ All participants in the circle will receive a small stipend of $50 for their time as well as priority registration for our programming taking place this Summer and Fall.

    ✨ We will be capping the circle to 12 participants. Since there are limited seats, you will hear back from us about our decisions and if you are added to our wait list.

    📝 This circle is only open to high school aged youth (14-19) who live within the five boroughs, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island. You do not need to be a current student to attend. If you are 13 but will be entering 9th grade in the fall, please let us know on the form!
