Join Project LETS Team members for a skills-based teach in and training, focused on supporting folks who experience altered states and what we've come to know as psychosis. We’ll be discussing: anti-carceral crisis response, harm reduction and safety, care without cops, "de-escalation" and supporting someone's stabilization, needs assessments, maximizing autonomy, setting boundaries, navigating interpersonal harm, and more. The information, skills, and resources presented during this training have been developed by folks who have lived experience of mental illness/madness, trauma, neurodivergence, and psychiatric hospitalization/incarceration; and our approach centers the values of anti-oppression, abolition, Mad Liberation, and Disability Justice.
