PAOLA MUNOZ ROJAS

Paola Muñoz Rojas is a feminist luchadora for intersectional social justice within academic spaces, hija de la Dominican Diáspora, and first-generation South Bronx native. She is a recent graduate of Cornell University, having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Development with minors in English, Inequality Studies, Latinx Studies, and Education. She is currently a graduate student at Columbia University, Teachers College within the Master of Arts in Anthropology and Education program. While at Cornell University, she was the co-head of the Advocacy Committee for the Office of Academic Diversity Initiative’s First in Class program — advancing to lead as the President of the First Generation Student Union — the Head Delegate for the Cornell Latinx Ivy League Delegation, as well as a Ronald E. McNair Research Scholar. She was the co-host of the first Cafecito con Chisme: Latinx Podcast of its kind, as well as Senior Editor and Facebook Social Media Manager for Oblivion Magazine.
